We all know the story of the original British Only Fools & Horses. After all, it’s one of the most popular shows in British history, loved by millions worldwide.
But did you know that the Portuguese had a crack at their own version back in the late 90s? Released in 1999 under the name O Fura-Vidas, meaning “Outside Of The Law”.
It follows a similar format to the British Only Fools & Horses original, down to similar characters and theme song.
The show aired for three years, from 1999 to 2001. It was well-received in Portugal, with an average rating of 8.7 on IMDB and a loyal social media following who want to see it brought back to life.
